Milind Soman recently completed a 240-kilometer Unity Run from Pune to Vasai Virar Fort barefoot on August 10. This marks the third edition of the Unity Run, with Milind having covered a total of over 1100 kilometers thus far. In the first edition, he ran 420 kilometers from Mumbai to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat, while the second edition took him 450 kilometers from Jhansi to the Red Fort in Delhi.

Despite the common struggles that many face during running, Milind Soman was remarkably fresh upon completing the marathon. Known as India's enduring fitness icon, Milind's advice to adults is simple: keep pushing your limits. His fitness journey began after winning a silver medal for India in swimming at the 1984 South Asian Games. When questioned about his transition to running, Milind shared his story of taking up running after leaving swimming in 1988.

Milind emphasizes the importance of self-challenge in fitness, suggesting starting with small goals like push-ups for a minute and gradually increasing difficulty. He believes in the incredible potential of the human body, emphasizing the significance of self-motivation in achieving fitness goals.
